Aviator Pinochle playing cards are a special deck created especially to play Pinochle with 48 cards.  Pinochle is similar to Bridge or Chess in how it rewards the player who takes chances. Extra pips across the top make it easier to see your matched sets.  Aviator cards were introduced in 1927 to honor Charles Lindberg’s historic flight across the Atlantic Ocean in the Spirit of St Louis. Nearly a century later you can still play cards like Lucky Lindy. These beautiful red or blue cards feature retro airplane graphics on the box.
